표면 질화용으로
표면 경화강의 한 가지 종류입니다.

SACM645 뿐 아니라, SNCM, SCM, SNC 기계  구조용
합금강재는 침탄이나 질화 (Nitriding)로

표면 경화강으로 사용하기도 하고
열처리와 화학 성분과 강재의 크기 (mass)에 따라

물성은 큰 차이를 보이는 특성이 있습니다.
표면경화강은 강재의 심부는 부드럽지만

강재의 표면은 단단하며, 압축 응력을 잔류 시켜
비틀림에 견디고, 버티는 성능이 필요한 경우 사용합니다.

표면 경화 처리 방법으로는 Gas, Salt bath, Plasma 방법이 있지만
최근에는 Plasma Nitriding 방법을 주로 사용합니다.

그 이유는 친환경적이면서
낮은 온도에서도 가능하기 때문입니다.

※ Nitriding
It is a heat treatment process for surface hardening.
Nitriding is an accumulation of nitrogen in the tool surface by
diffusion at a process temperature between 430~630℃.
When it is done with a secondary hardened tool steel below 500℃,
there will be no distortion on the nitriding pieces.
Today we use gas nitriding, salt bath nitriding, plasma nitriding.
Recently plasma nitriding has become very popular because it is
possible to reduce the nitriding temperature to a lower level
and this process has the best environmental  assessment.
Nitriding a tool is a good possibility of increasing the wear
resistance of the surface still having a tough core.

※ Nitriding steel (질화강 : 窒化鋼)
Steels whose surfaces are hardened by nitriding treatment containing
aluminium, chromium, molybdenum, etc.
They mainly used machine structural use.

※ Nitriding (질화 : Nitriding)
Thermo-chemical treatment which is applied to a ferrous product
in order to produce surface enrichment in nitrogen
The medium in which the nitriding takes place shall be
specified e.g. gas, plasma, etc.

철강재 표면의 질소 농도를 높이는 열 화학적 처리.
질화에 사용되는 매질은 가스, 플라즈마 등으로 표시해야 한다.
