철강에 전혀 어울리지 않는
눈물이라는 단어가 들어간 철강재입니다.

눈물이 떨어질 때의 모양과 같은 형상을
철강판을 가공해서 만든 철강재를 말합니다.

Checkered plate와 비슷니다.
Original Checkered는 3~8mm만 공급되지만

Teardrop Plate는 3~30mm 까지 공급되므로
두께에서 차원이 다릅니다.

Checkered plate는 공급되는 강종이
S235JR, S355J2+N, 2개 강종이지만

Teardrop Plate는 S235JR, S275JR, S355J2+N으로
공급 강종이 다양합니다.

또한 Teardrop Plate는 조선용 (Shipbuilding Grade) Steel Grade로
Grade A, Grade DH36으로도 공급되므로, 공급 강종이 훨씬 다양합니다.

Checkered Plate는 Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel
Aluminium 으로도 사용 금속면에서 다양한 차이가 있고

특히 스테인레스에서는 미끄럼 방지 기능을 하는
Check 무늬의 종류가 다양합니다.

※ Checkered plate/Floor steel plate (무늬 강판)
압연 Roll의 표면에 조작 홈을 넣어서 강판의 한쪽 면에,
미끄럼 방지 등의 모양을 규칙적으로 부각 시킨 강판.
마루용 강판이라고도 한다.

※ Charpy V-Notch Impact Test
Test to measure the absorbed energy, impact value, percentage
of brittle/ductile fracture, transition temperature, etc. with using
charpy impact testing machine in which test piece is supported by
two supports distant by 40 mm so that the notch meets the middle
between supports and is broken by striking with one blow of
pendulum to the face opposite the notch.
