UNS S43940 강재는 페라이트 스텐레스로, 오스테나이트계 스텐보다
높은 열전도성과 낮은 팽창계수를 가지는 심가공용 재료입니다.

심가공성 뿐 아니라 성형성도 좋으며, 표면 광택성도 좋고
공식과 (pitting corrosion) 고온 환경에서도 내식성을 유지합니다.

UNS S43940 강재는 오스테나이트 스텐레스가 냉간 가공으로 기계적
성질을 높일 수 있는 것과는 다르게 냉간으로 강도를 높일 수 없습니다.

S43940 재질의 특징은 Nickel 함량이 없는 Nickel Free 이면서 800~900℃
수준의 고온에서의 내산화성으로 자동차의 배기관, 열교환기, 튜브 용도입니다.

UNS S43940 재질은 Sheet, Plate 경우는 ASTM A240 규정을 따르고
DIN-EN 1.4509 (X2CrTiNb18) 규정 재료와도 대응됩니다.

※ Deep Drawability (심가공성)
The degree that the material on the surface on dies is drawn
in to the hole, They may be classified into drawability,
deep drawability, and extra deep drawability.

가공 될 소재가 다이스 금형 구멍 안에서 조리개 가공 될 수 있는 정도를
의미하며, 그 정도에 따라, 가공성, 심가공성, 초심가공성으로 구별합니다.

※ Formability (성형성 : 成形性)
The degree of capability for being formed into a
required shape without generating cracks
균열을 일으키는 일 없이 필요한 형상으로 성형할 수 있는 정도.

※ Ferritic Heat Resisting Steels
Heat resisting steels with ferritic structure
Generally, they have characteristics of small thermal stress
due to the small coefficient of thermal expansion and
large thermal conductivity, and of high creep strength
and high yield point at high temperature.

페라이트조직을 가지는 내열강. 일반적으로 열팽창계수가 작고,
열전도도가 큼으로 열응력이 작으며, 높은 크립 강도,
고온에서 고항복점을 가지는 특징이 있습니다.
