SCM 415 는, 크롬 + 몰리브덴 합금입니다.
Plate와 Round-Bar 형태가 많습니다.

Chromium and Molybdenum 합금은
SCr강에 Molybdenum 합금한 것으로

인장강도, 항복점, 인성(Toughness) 증가를 가져오고
한쪽 끝 경화능 보증강 (Hardenability)강재로 사용합니다.

또한 침탄 표면 경화강으로 제조 되어
내마모성 강재와 Bearing 강재로도 사용합니다.

JIS SCM 415, DIN-EN-ISO 15CrMo4,
Material No. 1.3566, ASTM B25와 대응 가능합니다.

공급 조건은 Pickled surface and Annealed
열처리 조건으로 공급됩니다.

※ Pickled surface
Finish which indicates the surface conditions of steel products,
with which the mill scale, rust, etc. of surface are removed by
dipping into sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid or other acid solution.

강재의 표면 상태를 나타내며, 황산, 염산, 또는 기타의 산용액에
침지 시켜서, 표면의 스케일, 녹 등을 제거한 것.

※ Case hardening steel (표면 경화강: 表面硬化鋼)
Low carbon steels and low carbon alloy steels of machine structural use
whose surfaces are hardened mainly by carburization hardening.

저탄소강 및 저탄소 합금강으로, 주로 침탄 퀜칭에 의해 표면 경화 시킨 강
표면의 내마모성과 내피로성을 높이지만, 강재 내부의 인성을 유 지시킨 강재.
표면 경화 방법으로는 침탄 (Carburizing), 질화 (Nitriding), 침붕 (Boriding)이 있고
각각 탄소, 질소, 붕소를 강재 표면에 침투 시켜 경화 시키는 방법입니다.

※ Carburizing (침탄)
Thermochemical treatment which is applied to a ferrous product
in the austenitic state, to obtain a surface enrichment in carbon,
which is in solid solution in the austenite
Further, carburized steel is generally used after it is quenched
and tempered. This treatment is sometimes called case hardening
This is classified into solid carburizing, liquid carburizing and
gas carburizing according to the type of carburizing agents
The carburized ferrous product undergoes quench hardening
(immediately or later)
The medium in which carbonitriding takes palace
should be specified, e.g. gas, salt, bath. etc.

오스테나이트 상태의 철강재에서 표면에만 오스테나이트중의
고용 탄소 농도를 높이고자 시행하는 열 화학적 처리로
침탄 된 철강재는 그 즉시 또는 이후에 급랭 퀜칭 처리가 뒤따른다.
침탄에 이용된 가스나 고체 등의 매질은 반드시 표기해야 한다.
