AMS 5837 재료는 니켈을 base-metal 로, 크롬-몰리브덴-컬럼븀 합금으로
내열성과 내식성을 가지는 Wire, Welding 제품 규정을 말합니다.

항공기의 배관 시스템과 발전소, 스프링, 밀봉 재료로 사용합니다.
ASTM B 446 Alloy 625 UNS N06625 규정과 대응 가능한 규정입니다.

AMS 5887 합금은 극히 좋은 내산화성, 내식성과 고온 강도 특징으로
염화물 응력 부식 균열과 공식 저항성, 고온부터 극저온까지 사용 합니다.

Annealed 조건과 냉간 가공으로 Spring Temper 의 높은 강도가 가능하고
비자성 (non-magnetic) 이고, 엔진 배기관, 열교환기, 로(爐) 부품에 사용합니다.

※ Stress corrosion (응력부식 : 應力腐蝕)
부식과 인장 응력 또는 잔류 응력, 그리고 부식성 환경으로 인해
금속의 변형과 함께 발생하는 부식을 말합니다.
금속 표면에 거의 부식이 없지만 미세한 균열들이 금속
내부로 퍼짐에 따라 (전파에 따라), 설계 강도보다 훨씬 낮은
응력에서도 금속 파괴가 일어날 수 있습니다.
