EN36 재질은 영국 규격으로 655M13 으로 변경 됐으며, 탄소량이 낮고
니켈 합금이 높아 충격에 대한 저항성과 인성을 가지는 재료이면서

강재의 표면을 침탄 해서 사용하는 표면경화용 합금강 강재입니다.
현행 EN 1.5752/15NiCr13 재질과 대응되며, DIN으로는 14NiCr14 비교됩니다.

엔지니어링 기계구조용으로 사용이 많으며 우수한 내피로성과 열처리시에
심부 강도 (core strength) 재료로 +QT 조건에서 인장강도 1000 MPa 수준입니다.

침탄처리 뿐 아니라, QT 열처리, Annealing, Normalizing, 한쪽 끝 경화능 처리가
가능한, 다양한 열처리 방법이 가능하며, 항공기, 높은 응력의 축, 기어 용도입니다.

carburising or carbonitriding and subsequent hardening.
Such steels, after treatment, are characterised by a high hardness
surface layer and a tough.

저탄소강 및 저탄소합금강으로, 주로 침탄퀜칭에 의해 표면경화 시킨 강.
표면의 내마모성과 내피로성을 높이지만, 강재 내부의 인성을 유지 시킨 강재.
표면경화 방법으로는 침탄 (Carburizing), 질화 (Nitriding), 침붕 (Boriding)이 있고
각각 탄소, 질소, 붕소를 강재 표면에 침투시켜 경화 시키는 방법입니다.

※ Nickel (Ni)
One of the most widely used alloying elements in steel.
In amounts of 0.50% to 5.00% its use in alloy steels increases
the toughness and tensile strength without detrimental effect
on the ductility. Nickel also increases the hardenability.

니켈은 강 (steel)에 많이 합금 되는 원소로, 0.50~5.00% 수준의 합금으로도, 강의
연성에 해로운 영향을 주지 않고, 강도와 인성을 증가 시키고, 경화능 향상 원소입니다.
