C27200 재질은 황동 (yellow brass)로 구리 63.5% 수준과 아연 합금입니다.
우수한 냉간 성형성으로 심가공이 가능하고 , 내식성, 단조성 재질입니다.

ASTM B36 C27200 재질은 Sheet, Plate, Strip and 압연 봉에 대한 규정이고
B135 C27200 는, Tube 재료로 Temper H80 (hard drawn) 많이 사용됩니다.

튜브 재료는 열교환기, 라디에이터, 펌프의 실린더, 파스너, 볼트, 너트로
사용되며, 비중 8.44 g/㎤이고, 높은 인장강도지만, 탈아연이 있을 수 있습니다.

※ 탈아연부식 (Dezincification : 脫亞鉛腐蝕)
Dezincification selectively removes zinc from the alloy,
leaving behind a porous, copper-rich structure that
has little mechanical strength — NACE

황동이나 금속에서 부식성 물질에 의해, 금속의 표면 또는
내부까지 탈 아연 되면서, 탈아연 금속은 다공질화 되어
(인간의 골다공증처럼) 강도를 상실케 되는 현상을 말합니다.

※ Deep Drawability (심가공성)
The degree that the material on the surface on dies is drawn
in to the hole, They may be classified into drawability,
deep drawability, and extra deep drawability.

가공 될 소재가 다이스 금형 구멍 안에서 조리개 가공 될 수 있는 정도를
의미하며, 그 정도에 따라, 가공성, 심가공성, 초심가공성으로 구별합니다.

※ Temper (질별 : 質別)
금속 또는 합금에 요구되는 특정한 물리적 및/또는 기계적 성질을
부여하는 공정으로 (예를 들어 기계적 처리 및/또는 열처리) 후의
제품의 상태를 말합니다.
