고강도강으로 KS D 3515 용접구조용강 SM355A 재질입니다.

SS275 강재는 일반 구조용강이면서 최소 항복강도 275 MPa
SM355A 강재는 용접 구조용강이면서 최소 항복강도 355 MPa 입니다.

SS275 대비 SM355A 강재가 강도가 높아서 고장력강이라고도 하며
이들은 탄소강으로 스테인리스처럼 내식성이 담보되지 않는 재질입니다.

H-Beam, SM355A 194×150×6/9 size의 단위 중량은 30.6 kg/m로
소형 size 수준의 빔으로, 대형빔 918×303빔 307.0 kg/m 대비 10배 가볍습니다.

건축, 교량, 선박, 차량, 기타의 구조물 및 압력용기용으로서,
보통 인장강도 50kgf/㎟ (490N/㎟) 이상의 용접성, 노치인성 및
가공성도 중시해서 제조된 강재라고 합니다.
자동차용 냉연강판에서는 인장강도 35kgf/㎟(340 N/㎟)
이상을 고장력강이라고 합니다.
탄소강 열간 압연 강재 인장강도 490 Mpa 수준은 유럽의 S355급 강재와 비교됩니다.
