SS275 Plate 재질은 일반 구조용 탄소강 규격이고 A283-C 재질은 ASTM 규격의 구조용
중저 (Low and Intermediate) 인장강도 (Tensile Strength) 탄소강 강판에 대한 규격입니다.

SS275 강재의 개정 전 규격이면서 현재 JIS G3101 규정의 강재는
SS400 재질의 인장강도는 400 MPa minimum이지만, KS 규격 개정 후

SS275 재질의 인장강도는 415~550 MPa로 이전 규격보다 조금 높고, JIS SS400 보다 높습니다.
A283-C 강재가 인장강도 380~515 MPa minimum이고

A283-D 강재의 인장강도는 415~550 MPa로, 현재 KS SS275 강재는 A283-C
강재와 인장강도가 비교되기보다는, A283-D 강재와 인장강도 값의 범위와 서로 일치합니다.

위에 나오는 재질 모두가 탄소강 강판으로 같지만, 재질의 Symbol도 다르고 KS, ASTM, JIS
규격 간의 세부적인 차이가 있고, KS 구조용 강재의 경우 (다른 구조용은 별개로 하더라도)

개정 전보다 개정 후에 강재로서 가장 기본이 되는 강도 값이 높아졌으므로
SS275 강재의 경우 A283-C 강재보다는 A283-D 강재와 비교가 바람직합니다.

※ Tensile Strength (인장강도 : 引張强度)
Value of maximum load during tensile test divided by the
original sectional area of parallel portion.
As for materials in which the maximum load withstood by test piece
after yielding is lower than the upper yield point, it shall be the value of the
maximum load after yielding divided by original sectional area of parallel portion.
인장시험에서 시험편의 평행부가 두 동강 날 때까지 견딘 최대 하중을 말합니다.

※ Steel for structure (구조용강 : 構造用鋼)
Steel products manufactured for building, bridges, ships, vehicles,
and other structure uses, which require high strength,
if required weldability as well

건축, 교량, 선박, 차량, 기타의 구조물용으로서 강도 및 필요에 따라
용접성을 중시하여 제조된 강재를 말합니다.

※ Rolled steel products (압연강재 : 壓延鋼材)
Steel products to be formed bars, wire rods, sections, steel strip
in coil, steel plates, flat bar and so on by rolling mill.
Normally those further not hot rolled by the manufacturer.

압연기로서 봉강, 선재, 형강, 강판, 강대, 평강등의 모양으로, 성형 가공한 강재로
성형 가공 후 보통 제조자에 의해 더 이상 추가적인 열간압연이 없습니다.
