ASTM A313 규정은 스프링 와이어 재질만 있는 규정으로 여기에 Type 304
재질이 있고, Type 631, Type 316, Type XM-16 (S45500) 재질 등이 있습니다.

재질별로 두꺼은 외경부터 가는 외경까지 다양한 외경별 인장강도 값이
정해져 있고, 이는 가늘면 가늘수록 가공 경화도가 높아지고

가공 경화도가 높으면 높을수록 인장강도 값이 높아지는 냉간 가공 효과 때문입니다.
Type 304 Wire 외경별 48종이 있으며, 개략 1300~2200 MPa 수준의

스프링 Temper의 강도를 가지는 것이 주로 공급이 되고 있습니다.
Type 304 스테인리스는 좋은 내식성으로 가장 많이 사용되는 재질입니다.

※ Tensile Strength (인장강도 : 引張强度)
Value of maximum load during tensile test divided by the
original sectional area of parallel portion.
As for materials in which the maximum load withstood by test piece
after yielding is lower than the upper yield point, it shall be the
value of the maximum load after yielding divided by original
sectional area of parallel portion.
인장시험에서 시험편의 평행부가 두 동강 날 때까지 견딘 최대 하중을 말합니다.

※ 냉간가공 (Cold-working : 冷間 加工)
가공 경화가 나타나는 온도에서의 금속 또는 합금의 소성변형을 말합니다
Plastic processing method of metal or alloy which is carried out within such a
temperature range that strain hardening occurs.

※ 가공경화 (加工硬化 ; 변형 경화 ; Working hardening ; Strain hardening)
A phenomenon in which materials are hardened due to the increase of
processing strain when the processes such as cold rolling, drawing
and the like are carried out during cooling.

인발, 냉간압연과 같은 냉간 가공에 의한 금속 구조가 변화됨으로서
강도와 경도가 증가되는 현상을 말합니다.
일반적으로 강도와 경도가 좋아지면, 연신율은 감소합니다.
