A513-1026 SRA DOM 강재는 항복강도 65 ksi (448 MPa) minimum의
높은 강도를 가지는 냉간 인발 전기 용접 튜브 재질을 말합니다.

As Welded 상태에서는 45 ksi (310 MPa)에 불과하지만 냉간 인발 과정에서
가공 경화 효과로 강도가 높아지고, 표면상태가 매끄럽고, 광택이 있는 강재가 됩니다.

A513-1026 튜브에 약자가 나타나고 하나는 Stress Relieved Annealed (응력 제거 풀림 열처리)
열처리와 가공 방법으로 DOM (Drawn Over a Mandrel)으로 표기되는 경우가 있습니다.

또한 Seamless, Welded에 따라 ASTM 규정 번호가 달라져 A513-1026은 용접 튜브,
A519-1020 경우는 Seamless (이음매 없는 튜브) 튜브로 구분됩니다.

※ Stress Relieving(old name : stress relief annealing : 응력제거 어닐링(풀림)
Every piece of steel has an amount of internal stress caused
by steel production, machining, surface finish, heat treatment
and other processes.
During a heat treatment process the yield strength is reduced
to a lower level. If precision parts or complicated tools with
close tolerances, this deformation could cause problems.
In the case after rough machining and stress relieving is done
with a high degree of machining allowance.
After this process the internal stress is reduced by the parts deforming.
The standard process is slow heating up to 550~650℃, holding for
minimum 2 hours and finishing with a slow cooling in the furnace.

모든 철강재는 생산, 가공, 표면 마무리, 열처리와 기타 공정 진행에서
내부 응력이 어느 정도 쌓일 수 밖에 없고, 이런 내부 응력을 해소시키려고
적당한 온도로 가열하고 균열화한 후, 적절한 온도로 냉각함으로써
실질적인 조직의 변화 없이 내부 응력을 줄이고자 시행하는 열처리를 말합니다.

※ 가공경화 (加工硬化 ; 변형 경화 ; Working hardening ; Strain hardening)
A phenomenon in which materials are hardened due to the increase of
processing strain when the processes such as cold rolling, drawing
and the like are carried out during cooling.

인발, 냉간압연과 같은 냉간 가공에 의한 금속 구조가 변화됨으로서
강도와 경도가 증가되는 현상을 말합니다.
일반적으로 강도와 경도가 좋아지면, 연신율은 감소합니다.
