두가지 모두 마르텐사이트계입니다.
SUS 410 은

내식성이 좋고
기계 가공성을 가집니다.

주로 칼 (Knife)로 사용되며
13Cr이라고 해서 마르텐자이트계의 대표 강종이면서

Nickel이 없는 스테인레스 강종입니다.
SUS 410S 도, Nickel이 없기는 마찬가지입니다.

하지만 탄소 함량이 SUS410 대비
Low-Carbon으로

탄소 함량이 0.08% max입니다.
SUS 410 (탄소함량 0.15%)대비 상대적으로 적다는 것이지

SUS 410S 의, 탄소 함량은 SUS304, SUS316 과
같은 0.08% 로,

SUS304L 과 SUS316L 과 같은,
“L”급 보다는 많습니다.

SUS410 대비 SUS410S 가 상대적 Low-Carbon이니
당연히 강도는 SUS410S 가 조금 아래입니다.

SUS410S 는, SUS410 급의 내식성을 가지며
성형성 향상 강종입니다.

JIS G 4303은 스테인레스 환봉을
JIS G 4304는 Hot, G4305 는, Hot Plate 를 규정하고 있는데

SUS 410S 는, 봉강에는 나타나지 않고
Plate 에만 나타나는 규격입니다.

※ Martensitic Stainless Steels
Stainless steels which can be hardened by increasing carbon contents
of ferritic stainless steel and heat treatment to martensitic structure
SUS410 is representative.
담금질함으로서 마르텐자이트 조직으로 되어, 경화 시킬 수가 있는
스테인레스강으로 SUS410 — 13% 크롬강이 대표적입니다.

※ Martensite (마르텐자이트)
체심 정방체 (BCC) 구조를 가지는 준안정 고용체를 말합니다.
이것은 오스테나이트가 확산 기구가 아닌 방법으로 변태 되어 형성됩니다.

Metastable solid solution with a body-centred tetragonal crystal or a
body-centered cubic crystal having the same chemical composition
as that of the original austenite.
It is formed at a temperature of point Ms or lower by the transformation
of austenite without diffusional mechanism.
Martensite is sometimes produced by plastic deformation of austenite.

SUS 410S and SUS410 Stainless Steel
