환봉구리에 인 (燐 : phosphorus)을 합금해서 사용하는 것은 인을 합금하면
구리 합금 재료의 탄성, 내마모성, 강도와 경도와 같은 기계적 성질이 증가하기 때문입니다.

BS2874 PB102 재료의 경우 항복강도 560 MPa 수준의 고강도 재료로 알루미늄 청동인
CW307G — 항복강도 320 MPa min.과 비교하면 높은 강도를 알 수 있습니다.
