C2720 JIS 황동은 , ASTM C27200 대응되는 규격입니다.
63%Cu 37%Zn 황동으로, C2720 은

C2801, 6 : 4 황동보다 아연 합금량이 적어
냉간 가공성에서 우수합니다.

C2720 은, 열 교환기의 부품, Pump cylinder liners,
Cold heading parts, Fasteners 등으로 사용됩니다.

전연성 (ductility), Drawing 가공성이
좋은 금속입니다.

냉간 가공 정도에 따라 Temper 는
O : 연질, 1/4H : 1/4 경질, 1/2H : 1/2 경질

H : Hard (경질)로 구분되며 가공 정도가 높아질수록,
가공 경화에 의해, 강도는 높아집니다.

JIS H3100 황동 판 규격으로는 C2600, C2680,
C2720, C2801, 4가지의 Brass Grade가 있습니다.

※ Ductility (연성 : 延性)
The property of metals that enables them to be mechanically deformed
when cold, without fracture. In steel, ductility is usually measured by
elongation and reduction area is determined in a tensile test.
