SB480M 은 몰리브덴 합금 보일러 및 압력 용기용 탄소강 규격입니다.
Carbon steel and molybdenum alloy steel plates
for boilers and other pressure vessels로
사용 가능 온도 0~550℃ 구역에서 사용하는 강판입니다.
몰리브덴의 합금은 강도를 높이는 역할을 하며
고강도 강재의 경우 0.25% 이상이 합금 되며
내부식성, 내열성 향상 원소입니다.
하지만 Mo는 용접성 저해 원소이기도 합니다.
SB480M 은 몰리브덴 0.45~0.60%를 함유하고 있어,
용접성이 떨어짐에 유의 해야 하는 재질입니다.
SB480M 은 강종 그 자체로 강재 재질을 알 수 있는데
S는 steel을, B는 Boiler를
480은 최소 인장 강도를
M은 molybdenum을 의미하지만
열처리 종류 중 TMCP
열처리의 약자가 “M”으로 표기되기에
SB480 TMCP로 오인 되는 경우도 있습니다.
SB480 계열의 강재에 나타나는 Heat treatment로는
N : When steel plates are subject to normalizing
P : When steel plates are subject to stress relieving annealing
TN : When the test piece only is subject to normalizing
SR : When the test piece is subject to heat treatment
corresponding to post-weld heat treatment
(시험편에만 열처리에 상당하는 열처리를 할 경우)
TMCP 열처리와 구분이 가능하며, JIS G 3103, KS D 3560 에 있는
SB410 , SB450 , SB480 , SB450, SB480M,
그 어떤 강종에도
TMCP heat treatment 처리 강종은 없습니다.
※ Stress Relief (응력 제거 어닐링 (풀림)
Heating to a suitable temperature, holding long enough
to reduce residual stresses and than cooling slowly
enough to minimized the development of new residual stresses.
A heat treatment in which the lock-up stresses in a bar caused
by cold working are removed by heating the bar closed to but
below the lower limit of the critical temperature range,
or to approximately 100℉ below the tempering temperature.
적당한 온도로 가열하고 균열화한 후, 적절한 온도로 냉각함으로써
실질적인 조직의 변화 없이 내부 응력을 줄이고자 시행하는 열처리.
※ Molybdenum (Mo)
Its use as an alloying element in steel increase hardenability and
in low alloy steels reduces the risk of temper brittleness.
It is used in stainless steels as well as high speed steels.
It is increases the high-temperature tensile and creep strengths in steel
몰리브덴은 경화능 향상 원소이고, 저합금강에서는 템퍼 취성을 감소 시키는
역할을 합니다. 몰리브덴은 고속도강부터 스텐레스까지 합금 되는 원소입니다.
몰리브덴은 강에서 고온 강도와 크리프 강도를 높여주는 역할을 합니다.
