DNV (Det Norske Veritas)는 약칭 NV 로도 씁니다.

NV E Grade 는, 탄소강 강판에 대한 규격으로
“E” Grade의 특징은 영하 40℃ 에서

충격 시험 (Charpy V-Notch) Impact Test 입니다.
단순히 강도로만 보면 SS400, A36 과 차이가 없지만

-40℃ 충격 시험이, 있다는 것은 큰 차이입니다.
NV, DNV, E Grade, NV/E-TM, 생산 방법이 TMCP or

Normalizing 열처리로 생산되고,
As rolled 생산으로 진행은 없습니다.

※ Charpy V-Notch Impact Test (CVN)
Test to measure the absorbed energy, impact value, percentage
of brittle/ductile fracture, transition temperature, etc. with using
charpy impact testing machine in which test piece is supported by
two supports distant by 40 mm so that the notch meets the middle
between supports and is broken by striking with one blow of
pendulum to the face opposite the notch.

샤르피 충격 시험기를 사용하여 시험편을 40 mm 간격이 있는 두 개의
지지대에 올려 놓고, 또는 노치부를 지지대 사이의 중앙에 놓고
노치부의 뒷면을 해머로 1회만 충격을 주어, 시험편을 파단 시키고
흡수 에너지, 충격치, 파면율, 천이 온도 등을 측정하는 시험.

※ TMCP (열가공 제어)
A generic term for manufacturing methods carrying out air cooling or
enforced controlled cooling subsequent to the main process
of controlled rolling.
It includes the thermo-mechanical rolling and accelerated rolling,
but not when it is classical controlled rolling alone
This is also called TMCP.

※ Normalizing (불림 :燒準)
Heat treatment consisting of austenitizing followed by air cooling.
The purposes of this operation are to eliminate the influence of pre-working,
to render the crystal grains finder and to improve their mechanical properties.

오스테나이트화 후 공기 중에서 냉각하는 열처리로
노말라이징 열처리의 목적은 강재 생산 앞 공정에서 받은 응력 (Stress)를 풀어주고
결정립을 미세화, 표준화 시켜, 기계적 성질을 향상 시키는 열처리를 말합니다.
