석출 경화 열처리로 높은 강도가 특징이지만
내식성에서 304 만큼, 좋지는 않습니다.
하지만 크롬 합금 스테인레스 강재인
410, 420 보다는 내식성이 좋습니다.
AMS 5528, 17-7PH, RH950 열처리 된 조건인 경우
항복강도가 1300MPa 를 넘으며
TH1050 열처리 조건에서는
항복강도가 1100 MPa 를 넘습니다.
AMS 5528, 17-7PH 는, 우수한 피로 강도,
좋은 성형성, 열처리에 의한 뒤틀림 정도가 적습니다.
AMS 5528, 17-7PH 는, 우주 항공, 화학 처리 장치,
석유 정제 산업, 스프링용 재료로 사용됩니다.
