ATOS80 은, POSCO Trademark 제품입니다.
고장력강으로 자동차용 구조체 용도로, 주로 사용됩니다.

항복강도 700MPa, 인장강도 780 MPa minimum 강재로
DIN-EN S690 Grade 수준의 강재 입니다.

높은 강도를 가지는 강재이지만, 저탄소 강재입니다.
강(steel)은, 탄소량이 높아지면 용접성을 해치고

냉간 성형성을 확보하기 어렵습니다.
ATOS80 은, 탄소량을 저탄소로 하면서도, 높은 강도를 가집니다.

ATOS80 은, 고강도 확보에 도움이 되는 Niobium, Titanium, Molybdenum
원소를 미량 합금 해, 강재 조직의, 결정립을 미세화 시켰습니다.

결정립의 미세화는 강도를 높이는 중요한 요소입니다.
ATOS80 은, 우수한 내충격, 내피로 특성 강재입니다.

ATOS80 의, ATOS는 Automobile Structural Steel 의 약자이고
ATOS80 의 숫자 80은 80kgf/㎟ 강도를 나타내는 숫자로

MPa 로 환산하면 80kgf/㎟ × 9.8 = 784MPa 수준의 인장강도를 의미합니다.
ATOS80 또는 ATOS780 으로 불리기도 합니다.

자동차 구조용 열간 압연 강판 및 강대, KS D3519 규정의
SAPH400, SAPH440 강도보다 높으며

자동차용 가공성 열간 압연 고장력 강판 및 강대, KS D 3616 규정의
SPFH490, SPFH540, SPFH590 보다도 강도가 높습니다.

Steel with a small grain size (high number of ASTM Standard)
has a high tensile strength and a high toughness.

※ Fatigue test (피로 시험 : 疲勞試驗)
Test of determine fatigue life, fatigue limit, etc., by applying repeated
stresses or varying stresses to a test piece.
It is classified into torsion fatigue test, axial force fatigue test, rotating
bending fatigue test, plane bending fatigue test, etc., according to the
type of stresses applied.

시험편에 반복 응력 또는 변동 응력을 가하여, 피로 수명이나 피로 한도를
측정하는 시험으로, 응력의 종류에 따라, 비틀림, 축 하중, 회전 굽힘,
평면 굽힘 등의 시험이 있습니다.
