압력용기용 Moly 합금강재입니다.
Grade A, Gr.B, Gr.C 3가지 Grade가 있습니다.

Grade A : 450~585 MPa
Grade B : 485~620 MPa
Grade C : 515~655 MPa 로

Grade에 따라 강도를 달리하고 SA204 Gr.A 는,
JIS G 3103 SB450M과 비교 가능한 강재입니다.

Molybdenum 을 합금 하면
400℃ 정도 까지의 고온 강도가 개선되고

담금질과 열처리 효과가 깊게 됩니다.
또한 고온에서 Creep 강도를 높이는 효과가 있습니다.

※ Creep strength
Stress to cause specified strain in specified loading period of
time at constant temperature.
For example, the stress causing strain 1%, 0.1%, 0.01% in 1000h.
일정 온도하에서, 규정된 부하 시간에 규정된 변형이 생기는 응력.
예를 들면 1000 시간에 1%, 0.1% 또는 0.01%의 변형이
생기는 응력이 사용됩니다.

※ Creep test
Slow permanent deformation in a metallic specimen
produced by a relatively small steady force, below the
elastic limit, acting for a long period of time
시험편을 일정한 온도를 유지하고, 여기에 일정한 하중을
가하여, 시간과 더불어 변화하는 변형을 측정하는 시험.

※ Quenching (담금질)
Operation which consists of cooling a ferrous products
more rapidly then in still air.
The use of a term specifying the cooling condition is recommended,
for example air-blast quenching, water quenching, step quenching, etc.

철강재를 공기 중에 두는 것보다 더 빠르게 냉각하는 작업으로
퀜칭이란 용어를 사용하며, 공냉 (송풍 퀜칭), 수냉, 단계 퀜칭처럼
냉각 조건을 붙여 사용하는 것이 바람직합니다.

※ Alloy steel (합금강 : 合金鋼)
A Carbon steel to which is added a definite amount of one or more
elements other than carbon, in order to impart special properties
to the steel so that it can be used for specific purposes
강의 성질을 향상 시키기 위해, 또는 소정의 성질을 구비 시키기 위해
합금 원소를 1 종 또는 2 종 이상을 합금 시킨 강.
