Lanthanum (La, 란타넘)은, 희토류 금속으로, 전성과 연성이 있어
가공이 가능한 금속으로 비중 6.17 g/㎤ , 용융점 918 ℃ 입니다.

Lanthanum (La) 25~35% 수준과 Cerium (Ce) 합금체 (合金體)인 Mischmetal 을
철계, 니켈계 합금 재료로 사용해, 고온 내식성 Super-Alloy 를 생산합니다.

Lanthanum 은, 수소 저장용 합금(hydrogen storage alloys)과
고체 연료 전지용 (SOFC) 합금, 광학 렌즈 (optical lens), 탄소 아크 발광체

(carbon arc lights), optical fibers, and ceramic capacitors 용도로 사용하고
연구 목적의 99% Lanthanum sputtering target, rod, foil, powder 가 있습니다.

※ Super Alloy
Alloy of which content rate or iron is about 50% max,
by addition of a great amount of alloy elements, in order to
improve the corrosion resistance or thermal resistance of steel.

강의 내식성 또는 내열성을 개선 시키기 위하여, 합금 원소를
다량으로 첨가하여, 철분이 약 50% 이하로 되어 있는 합금.

※ 전연성 (展延性 : punch stretch-ability : stretch formability)
Capability of material to be formed into defined form and dimensions
by expanding and bulging a part of plane sheet or formed products.

평판 또는 이미 성형 된 제품의 일부를 늘리든가 (부풀게 하든가) 튀어
나오게 하여 소정의 형상 치수로 성형할 수 있는 정도를 말합니다.

※ Heat resisting steels (내열강)
Alloy steels which retain oxidation resistance, high temperature
corrosion resistance or high temperature strength under
various circumstances at high temperature.
They often contain nickel, cobalt, tungsten and/or other alloy
elements other then several % min of chromium.
Principally, they are classified into four types, which are
martensitic, ferritic, austenitic and precipitation hardening,
according to their structure.
Further, when total amount of alloy elements exceed about
50%, they are generally, called super alloy, heat resisting
alloy or super heat resisting alloy.

내열강이란 고온에서의 각종 환경에서 내산화성, 내고온 부식성 또는
고온 강도를 유지하는 합금강으로, 수% 이상의 크롬 외에 니켈, 코발트
텅스텐 등의 합금 원소를 함유하는 경우가 많으며 내열강은 그 금속의
조직에 따라 마르텐사이트계, 페라이트계, 오스테나이트계
석출경화계, 4가지로 분류됩니다.
또한 합금 원소의 총량이 50%를 넘는 경우는, 초 내열 합금, 또는
내열 합금, 또는 간단히 초합금이라고 부릅니다.
