가벼운 원소인 Aluminum, Magnesium 보다도 가볍고

인체나, 물과 비교하면 고체 금속이면서, 무게가 반 정도밖에 안되는 금속입니다.
이런 가벼운 Lithium (Li) 금속을 Magnesium, Magnesium 에 합금 하면

가볍지만 강도가 강한 합금이 되어, 우주 항공, 비행기 용도의 재료로 사용됩니다.
용융점도 180.7 로 낮고, 충전해서 다시 사용할 수 있는 리튬 2차 이온전지와

리튬전지에 사용되고, 단위 무게당 큰 에너지를 얻을 수 있는 원소입니다.
순 리튬 (pure lithium) 으로는 99.9% 의 Rod, Foil 제품 형태입니다.

두께 0.2 mm 보다 작은 균일한 직사각 단면을 가지는 압연 제품을 말합니다.
