StressProof® Steel, AISI 1144 재질은, 항복강도 690 MPa (100 ksi)
이르는 높은 강도와 냉간 인발로, 높은 표면 품질을 가지는 탄소강재입니다.
높은 강도와 함께, 절삭성이 좋은 쾌삭 성질로, free-cutting 성질은
0.24~0.33% Sulfur (황) 합금으로 가능합니다.
대부분의 탄소강재와 합금강재의 황 함량 0.050% 수준과 비교하면
StressProof® Steel, AISI 1144 재질의 황이 얼마나 높은지 알 수 있습니다.
KS SM355A 환봉의 항복강도는 355 MPa minimum 으로
StressProof® Steel, AISI 1144, 항복강도 690 MPa minimum 과
강도를 비교하면, StressProof® 강재의 높은 강도를 알 수 있습니다.
StressProof® 강재는, 표면 경화 없이도 내마모성이 높으며
뒤틀림 (warpage and distortion)이 적고, 제품의 표면은
Turned, Ground and Polished 상태의, Bright Bars 입니다.
StressProof® Steel 강재는 , ASTM A311 Gr.1144 Cl.B,
AISI 1144와 비교 가능하고, 와류 탐상 시험 제품입니다.
※ Eddy current testing (와류 탐상 시험, 渦流探傷試驗)
코일을 사용하여 도체에, 시간적으로 변화하는 자장 (교류 등)을 주어 도체에 생긴
와전류가 결함에 따라 변화하는 것을 검출하는 비파괴 시험을 말합니다.
전자 유도 탐상 시험 (電磁誘導 探傷試驗 : electromagnetic testing)이라고도 합니다.
Non-destructive test method to detect defects by change of eddy current which
generated in conductor applied with magnetic field varying with time
(alternating and the like) using coil.
It is called as electromagnetic induction testing too.
