AMS 4911 은, 티타늄 합금으로 6% 수준의 Aluminum 과
4% 수준의 Vanadium 합금이며, Annealed 처리된 Plate, Sheet,

Strip 에 대한 규정이고, 6Al4V 라고도 부릅니다
ASTM B265 Gr.5, UNS No. R56400 과 대응되는 규정입니다.

AMS 4911, ASTM B265 Grade 5 합금은 티타늄 합금으로는
다른 순 티타늄 대비 비교적 많이 사용되는 높은 강도 금속입니다.

주로 Aerospace — structural components, turbine blades, Fasteners,
Marine, Chemical process, Medical and Dental 용도로 사용합니다.

AMS 4911 은, 극저온부터 427℃ 수준까지 사용 가능하고
Annealed condition 에서 830 MPa min. 항복강도 수준의 금속입니다.

AMS 4911 은 α+β Alloy 로, 비중 4.4~4.5 수준이면서 비강도 (比强度)
(strength-to-weight)이고, 우수한 내식성 (corrosion resistance) 금속입니다.

Hot rolled or cold rolled flat steel products, cut to flat plate shapes,
including to cut length from the steel strips.
However, flat bars are not included.

평평하게 열간 압연 또는 냉간 압연 된 강철로, 평판상으로 절단된 강재.
강대로부터 자른 판(切板)도 포함됩니다, 평강은 포함되지 않습니다.

금속과 그 주변 환경의 물리 화학적 상호 작용으로 금속의
성질을 변하게 합니다. 이로 인해 금속, 환경 또는 기술 시스템
전체 또는 일부의 기능에 심각한 손상이 유발될 수 있습니다.
이 상호작용은 간혹 전기 화학적인 특성을 나타냅니다.
