A334 Grade 3 재질은 Tube 제품이면서, 저온용 강재입니다.
시편의 크기에 따라, 충격 값은 다르지만, 시험온도가 -100℃ 입니다.

탄소량은 S20C, AISI 1018 수준이지만, Nickel 함량이
3.18~3.82 % 합금된 nominal 3.5% Nickel 강입니다.

Nickel 의 합금은 강재의 저온 취성에 대한 저항력을 높여줍니다….인성 향상
A334 Grade 3 재질은 Tube 에 대한 규정이고

A333 Grade 3 — Pipe, A203 Gr.D — Plate, A350 Grade LF 3 — Flange
규정이지만, 3.5% Nickel 강이라는것은 같습니다.

A334 Gr.3 재질은 주로 Seamless, 제조사 검사인 EN 10204 Type 3.1,
비파괴 시험인 Eddy current test (와류 탐상 시험), minimum wall thickness 공급 조건입니다.

※ Brittleness (취성 : 脆性)
The property of little deformability, hard and brittle in general.
It is usually compared by the strength of impact or
the surface conditions of fracture.
일반적으로 단단하고 취성 (脆性)이며, 변형 등이 적은 성질.
보통, 충격 시험에서, 충격치의 대소 또는 파면의 상황에
따라 비교합니다.
인성 (Toughness)와 반대되는 개념으로 외부의 힘에 물체가
소성 변형 (Plastic deformation)을 거의 보이지 않고,
파괴되는 현상을 말합니다.

※ Toughness (인성 : 靭性)
The degree of difficulty in occurring impact breaking
because of the material’s toughness .
질기고 세며, 충격 파괴를 일으키기 어려운지, 어떤지의 정도.

※ 와류 탐상 시험 (Eddy Current Testing, Electromagnetic Testing)
코일을 사용하여 도체에, 시간적으로 변화하는 자장 (교류 등)을 주어 도체에 생긴
와전류가 결함에 따라서 변화하는 것을 검출하는 비파괴 시험을 말합니다.
전자 유도 탐상 시험이라고도 합니다.
