Titanium Grade 21 금속은 비중 4.93 g/㎤, 으로
ASTM A36 탄소강 비중 7.85 대비 63% 수준입니다.

ASTM A36 항복강도 36 ksi (248 MPa)
ASTM B265 Ti-Gr.21 은, 110 ksi (793 MPa)

항복강도 minimum 값 기준, 강도는 3배 수준입니다.
Titanium Grade 21, 인장강도 115 ksi 수준은 Annealed 열처리 조건으로

Annealed and Aged 열처리 조건에서는 170 ksi (1172 MPa) minimum으로
높아져, 비중 대비 강도가 높아 (높은 비강도), 항공기용 소재로 사용됩니다.

Titanium Grade 21 (Ti-Gr.21) 금속은 높은 비강도뿐 아니라
내산화성, 고온 강도, 크립 강도가 높은 재질입니다…816℃ 수준까지 내열성.

Ti-Gr.21 재질은 강도와 함께 좋은 성형성과 용접성이며, ASTM B265 는
Titanium and Ti-alloy Strip, Sheet, Plate 재질 규정입니다.

※ Aging treatment (시효 처리)
Heat treatment applied to a ferrous product after solution treatment
bring its properties to the required level.
Note : It consists of heating to and socking at one or more
specified temperature, followed by appropriate cooling

철강재가 필요한 성질을 가지도록 용체화 처리한 뒤에 적용하는 열처리.
이 처리는 가열한 뒤 정해진 하나 또는 두 온도에서 일정 시간 유지하는
균열화 처리 후 적절하게 냉각하는 공정으로 이루어집니다.

※ Oxidation resistance (내산화성 : 耐酸化性)
A property of oxidation resistance at a high temperature.
고온에서 산화 (철의 부식)에 견디는 성질

※ Creep strength (크리프 강도)
Stress to cause specified strain in specified loading period of
time at constant temperature.
For example, the stress causing strain 1%, 0.1%, 0.01% in 1000h.
일정 온도하에서, 규정된 부하 시간에 규정된 변형이 생기는 응력.
예를 들면 1000 시간에 1%, 0.1% 또는 0.01%의 변형이
생기는 응력이 사용됩니다.
