9kg Rail 은, 1m 당 단위중량이 8.94 kg 입니다.
경레일 (light rails)로, JIS E1103 규정의 압연강재 Rail 입니다.

탄소량 nominal 0.50% 중탄소강으로, 기계 구조용 탄소강재
S50C ~ S58C 수준의 강재로, 인장강도 569 MPa minimum 강재입니다.

9kg Rail 인장강도로만 비교하면, 569 MPa 수준은, 용접 구조용 강재 중
가장 강도가 높은 JIS SM570 강재와 비교 가능한 강도입니다.

9kg Rail 의 사용에는 Fish Plate 라는 레일과 레일 이음 연결 판과
연결 판을 고정 시키는 Bolts and Nuts 같이 사용됩니다.

Generally speaking carbon steels contain up to 2% total alloying

※ Rolled steel products (압연강재 : 壓延鋼材)
Steel products to be formed bars, wire rods, sections, steel strip
in coil, steel plates, flat bar and so on by rolling mill.
Normally those further not hot rolled by the manufacturer.

압연기로서 봉강, 선재, 형강, 강판, 강대, 평강 등의 모양으로, 성형 가공한 강재로
성형 가공 후 보통 제조자에 의해 더 이상 추가적인 열간 압연이 없습니다.
