Bar, Rod, and Wire — Rolled, Drawn, or Cold Finish 제품에 대한 규정입니다.

QQ-A-225/6 의 Temper T4 는 ASTM B211 2024 T4 재질에 대응되며
AMS 4120 — Solution Heat Treated and Naturally Aged 재질에 대응됩니다.

2024 알루미늄 합금은 시효 경화 열처리 재질로, 초두랄루민 재질입니다.
2024 T4 재질은, 높은 강도로 Carbon Steel ASTM A36 강재보다도

높은 수준의 minimum 인장강도와 항복강도 재료입니다.
상온 시효 (자연 시효)하면 강도가 높아지는 Al-Cu-Mg 합금입니다.

2024 T4 재질은 aircraft structures, screw machine products,
truck wheel, other miscellaneous structural 용도로 사용됩니다.

※ Natural ageing (자연 시효)
Strengthening of an alloy by spontaneous precipitation of soluble constituents
from a super-saturated solid solution at room temperature.
상온에서 과포화 고용체로부터 가용 성분을 석출하여 합금을 강화하는 것을 말합니다.

※ Temper T4
Solution Heat Treated and Naturally Aged to a Substantially Stable Condition
Applied to a products that are not cold worked after solution heat treatment,
or in which the effect of cold work in flattening or straightening may not be
recognized in applicable mechanical properties.

고용화 열처리 후 자연 시효 경화 (aged)해, 안정화 된 상태를 말합니다.
고용화 열처리 후 냉간 가공을 하지 않으며, 편평도와 직선도를 가공을 하더라도
기계적 특성에는 영향을 미치지 않는 수준으로 합니다.
