BS-L160 T73511 알루미늄 합금은 Aluminum 두랄루민 7075 이고
영국 규격 알루미늄 합금으로, AW 7075-T73511 에 대응됩니다.

7000 series 알루미늄 합금은 Al-Zn-Mg 합금으로 Mg2Si 화합물
석출에 의해, 알루미늄 합금 중 최고 수준의 기계적 성질을 가지는 재료입니다.

BS-L160 합금은 우주 항공, 방위 산업, 엔지니어링 부품 용도로 쓰이고
고용화 열처리와 인공 시효 열처리, 응력 부식에 저항성 재료입니다.

BS-L160 재질은 인발봉 제품으로 공급되며 항복강도 420 MPa minimum은
유럽 규격 탄소강재 S355 급을 넘어 S420 급으로, 높은 비강도 합금입니다.

※ Solution heat treatment (용체화 처리/고용화 처리)
A process in which an alloy is heated to a suitable temperature and is held
at this temperature long enough to allow soluble constituents to enter into
solid solution where they are retained in a super-saturated state after quenching.

합금을 적절한 온도로 가열하고 급랭 이후 과포화 상태로 존재하던
가용 성분이 고용체에 고용화 될 수 있도록 충분히 유지하는 공정을 말합니다.

※ Artificial ageing(precipitation heat treatment) : 인공 시효(석출 열처리)
A thermal treatment of an alloy at above room temperature to produce strengthening
by precipitation of soluble constituents from the super-saturated solid solution.

과포화 고용체로부터 가용 성분의 석출에 의한 강화를 위하여
상온 이상에서 합금을 열처리 하는 것을 말합니다.

※ Stress corrosion (응력 부식 : 應力腐蝕)
부식과 인장 응력 또는 잔류 응력, 그리고 부식성 환경으로 인해
금속의 변형과 함께 발생하는 부식을 말합니다.
금속 표면에 거의 부식이 없지만 미세한 균열들이 금속
내부로 퍼짐에 따라 (전파에)따라, 설계 강도보다 훨씬 낮은
응력에서도 금속 파괴가 일어날 수 있습니다.
