ASTM A830 규정은 Structural Quality 탄소강 강판에 대한 규정이고
화학 성분만을 나타내며, A830-1045 재질은 SAE-AISI 1045 와 대응됩니다.

탄소량 nominal 0.45% 수준의 중탄소강재 수준의 탄소강으로
A830-1045 재질은 열간 압연 As Rolled 조건의 공급만을 규정하고 있고

기계적 성질은 나타내지 않은 재질입니다.
이는 열처리인, Normalizing or QT 열처리, Annealed 조건에 따라

각각 달라지기도 하고, 열처리 온도에 따라 달라지기에, 기계적 성질은
지정되어 있지 않고, 사용자 기준에 따라 열처리 해서 사용합니다.

※ Carbon Steel (탄소강 : 炭素鋼) – AISI Definition)
Generally speaking carbon steels contain up to 2% total alloying
elements, and can be subdivided into as following categories
Low-carbon steels (저탄소강), which contain up to 0.30% Carbon
Medium-carbon steels (중탄소강), which contain 0.30% to 0.60% Carbon
High-carbon steels (고탄소강), which contain 0.60% to 1.00% Carbon.

※ Mechanical properties (기계적 성질 : 機械的性質)
Various properties relating to mechanical deformation and
breaking such as tensile strength, yield point or proof strength,
elongation, reduction of area, hardness, impact value,
fatigue strength, creep strength, etc.

인장강도, 항복점, 연신율, 단면 수축율, 경도, 충격치, 피로 강도,
크리프 강도 등 기계적인 변형 및 파괴에 관계되는 성질을 말합니다.

※ As rolled (압연한 그대로)
The condition the material is in when in comes off the sizing rollers.
Cooling as it’s being processed. As rolled is more prone to hard spots
and higher as shipped hardness.

금속 재료를 압연 롤로 압연을 끝낸 상태로, 경도나 강도 등 기계적
성질을 변화 시키는 열처리가 없는, 공기 중에서 냉각 시킨 상태입니다.
