A705 규정은 스텐레스 단조강 규정이면서, 시효 경화 열처리로 강재의
기계적 성질 (강도, 경도 등)을 높인 재질들만 모아 놓은 규정입니다.

A705 XM-13 재질은 13% 수준의 Chromium, 8% 수준의 Nickel 원소에
Molybdenum 을 2.25% 수준 합금한 재질이라서 13-8Mo 라는 별명과

Aluminum 을 석출 경화 (precipitation hardening) 원소로 사용해
PH 13-8Mo 또는 13-8PH 라는 명칭도 사용되는 재질입니다.

13-8Mo 스텐레스는 Solution 상태에서 HRC 38 max (HB 363 max.) 이지만
열처리에 따라 7가지로 세분 되고, 각각의 열처리 온도에 따른

기계적 성질도 각각 있는 재질로, 13-8Mo H1000 조건이 비교적 사용량이 많습니다.
13-8Mo H1000 은 1000℉에서 4시간 aging treatment 후 공냉한 상태로

13-8Mo H1000 단조재인 경우 항복강도 190 ksi (1310 MPa) minimum으로
오스테나이트계 Type 304 — 205 MPa 와 비교하면 높은 강도를 알 수 있습니다.

final cold working or after a final heat treatment.

최종 열처리나 냉간 공정 후 금속의 (예를 들어 경도와 강도의 증가)
성질을 변화 시키는 것을 말합니다..
이 용어는 시효 경화 (석출 경화)라는 용어와 동의어로 쓰입니다.

Heat treatment applied to a ferrous product after solution treatment
bring its properties to the required level.
Note : It consists of heating to and socking at one or more
specified temperature, followed by appropriate cooling.

철강재가 필요한 성질을 가지도록 용체화 처리한 뒤에 적용하는 열처리.
이 처리는 가열한 뒤 정해진 하나 또는 두 온도에서 일정 시간 유지하는
균열화 처리 후 적절하게 냉각하는 공정으로 이루어집니다.
