SA723-2-3 (Grade 2 Class 3) 재질은 단조 합금강재로, 높은 압력이 작용하는
압력용기용 부품으로 사용하는 고강도 QT 열처리 강재입니다.

SA723-2-3 단조강재는 Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum 합금강재로
SNCM 종류로는 비교적 탄소량이 높은 0.40 maximum 수준으로,

Ni-Cr-Mo 합금에 높은 탄소량은, 높은 QT 열처리성이 가능해
SA723-2-3 재질은 항복강도 825 MPa minimum 의 높은 기계적 성질입니다.

SA723-2-3 합금강재에서 Class 는 화학 원소 구성에 따라 다르고
Grade 는 기계적 성질과 Charpy absorbed CVN 에 따라 구분됩니다.

※ Steels for pressure vessels (압력용기용 강재 : 壓力容器用鋼材)
Steel products manufactured pressure vessels and high pressure
equipment which require strength, weldability and principally
toughness at a ordinary temperature.
They are generally used for the principal portions of pressure vessels.

압력용기 및 고압 설비용으로서 고온강도, 용접성 및 주로 상온에서의
인성을 중요시하여 제조 된 강재로, 보통 압력용기의 주요 부분에 사용됩니다.

※ Nickel (Ni)
One of the most widely used alloying elements in steel.
In amounts of 0.50% to 5.00% its use in alloy steels increases
the toughness and tensile strength without detrimental effect
on the ductility. Nickel also increases the hardenability.

니켈은 강(steel)에 많이 합금 되는 원소로, 0.50~5.00% 수준의 합금으로도, 강의
연성에 해로운 영향을 주지 않고, 강도와 인성을 증가 시키고, 경화능 향상 원소입니다.

※ Molybdenum (Mo)
Its use as an alloying element in steel increase hardenability and
in low alloy steels reduces the risk of temper brittleness.
It is used in stainless steels as well as high speed steels.
It is increases the high-temperature tensile and creep strengths in steel.

몰리브덴은 경화능 향상 원소이고, 저합금강에서는 템퍼 취성을 감소 시키는
역할을 합니다. 몰리브덴은 고속도강부터 스텐레스까지 합금 되는 원소입니다.
몰리브덴은 강에서 고온 강도와 크리프 강도를 높여주는 역할을 합니다.
