SNB16-H 재질은 KS D 3755, 고온용 합금강 볼트재 규정에 있습니다.
주로 원자력 발전 설비에 사용되는 재질로 ASTM A193 B16 재질과 대응됩니다.

화학원소 구성 1Cr-0.5Mo-V 로, 저합금강재이지만 QT 열처리성이 강한
Chromium, Molybdenum, Vanadium 합금으로, QT 열처리 하면 가장

외경이 큰 경우도, 인장강도 100 ksi (690 MPa) 이상의 높은 기계적 성질입니다.
QT 열처리 하면 Steel Symbol SNB16-H (Hardened)로 구분합니다.

SNB16-H 합금강재는 나사 가공을 하지 않은 볼트, 스터드 볼트를
제작하기 위한 원소재로 주로 환봉 형상의 제품입니다.

KS D 3755 SNB16-H 재질은 DIN EN 1.7711, 40CrMoV4-6 재질과 대응되는,
고온 고강도, 내크리프성, 내마모성이 특징인 강재입니다.

※ Vanadium (V) – increases shock resistance, strength, and hardness.
Retards grain growth even after exposure to high temperatures.

바나듐 원소는 경도와 강도, 충격 저항성을 높이고,
고온에서 결정립의 성장을 지연 시키는 원소입니다.

※ Creep resistance (내크리프성)
a property of resistance against a phenomenon in which
strain in the lapse of time under a fixed stress at a high
temperature called high temperature creep.

고온의 일정한 압력을 받는 환경에서 물질의 변형이
시간이 경과함에 따라 증가하는 현상을 고온 크립이라고 하고
이에 견디는 성질을 말합니다.

elements other than carbon, in order to impart special properties
to the steel so that it can be used for specific purposes.
