65(H) × 42(B) × 5.5(t1) × 7.5(t2) size, 단위 중량 7.09 kg/m 의 형강입니다.

UPN65 보다 작은 Size UPN50 → UPN65 → UPN75 → UPN80
순서로 유럽형 기본 찬넬 size 가 커지고, 단위 중량이 커집니다.

UPN65 찬넬의 재질은 S235JR, S275JR, S355J2 와 같은
열간 압연 구조용 탄소강재 EN 10025-2 재질 중 1가지가 나타납니다.

KS 공급 최소 Size 찬넬인 75×40×5×7, 6.92 kg/m 와 UPN65 를 비교하면
찬넬의 높이는 작지만 단위 중량은 더 큰 찬넬이고, 탄소강 강재입니다.

UPN65 찬넬의 원소재는 Killed Steel or Semi-Killed Steel 로
Rimmed Steel 빌렛은 사용 금지 규격으로, 20℃ 상온에서 충격 시험이 있습니다.

※Rimmed Steel
A classification of steel by ingot casting process and steel of which
liquid steel is solidified while a specific stirring motion like as
boiling (it is called rimmed action) is being carried out by carbon
monoxide generated by reaction between oxygen and carbon
in liquid steel within a mold
Steel manufactured by addition of ferro-manganese, a small amount
of aluminum and so on as deoxdizers.
Although the surface layer is clear, there is segregation in other parts.

주형 내에서 용강 중의 산소와 탄소가 작용해, 일산화탄소를 발생하여,
용강이 특유한 교반 비등 운동 (Rimmed 운동이라고 함)을 하면서 응고된 강철로
탈산제로는 Fe-Mn (페로망간), 소량의 알루미늄을 가해서 만든 강철입니다.
표면은 청정하지만 편석이 있습니다.

금속의 합금 성분, 불순물, 비금속 개재물이 금속 내 고루
