British Specification, BS S151D 재질은 영국 규격의 QT 열처리 가능한
마르텐자이트, 내열성 스텐레스로, 봉, 단조재, 빌렛 형상의 합금강입니다.

BS S151D 스텐은 인장강도 930~1130 MPa 강재로,
소량의 합금으로도 강재의 강도를 높이는 바나듐과 질소 합금강입니다.

BS S151D 스텐레스는 1000℉ (537 ℃) 수준까지 높은 내(耐) 크리프성과
내식 특성으로, 높은 응력이 작용하는 터빈 부품으로 사용됩니다.

British Specification, BS S151D 합금은 Jethete® M152, AMS 5719 —
진공 용해 프리미엄 항공기강, ASTM XM-32, DIN-EN 1.4938 강재와

대응되는 고인성 (靭性 : toughness) 강재이고, 발전소, 항공기와
열 교환기, 가스 터빈, discs, screws, bolts and rings 형상 제품으로 사용됩니다.

※ Vacuum Melting (진공 용해 : 眞空熔解)
Melting in a vacuum to prevent contamination from air, as well as to
remove gases already dissolved in the metal ; the solidification may
also be carried out on a vacuum or at low pressure.

진공이나 낮은 압력에서 금속을 용해하는 생산 방법으로 대기 속에
있는 산소, 불순물이 들어가지 않게 금속을 제조하는 방법으로, 의료용,
고급 금속, 특수강, 전자 산업용 금속 재료의 생산에 사용되는 방법입니다.

Premium Aircraft Quality Steel is the ultimate quality that can currently be obtained in
production quantities and is usually applied to the most critical parts and components.
Steel conformed to this quality level is produced by the consumable electrode vacuum
arc remelting technique. AMS 2300 defines this quality and outlines testing requirements
Steels described herein which meet this quality are designated by the letters VAR
(Vacuum Arc Remelts) or CEVM (Consumable Electrode Vacuum Melted)
