AMS 3660 은, PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) Rods, Tubes,
and Shapes 형상의, 소결 성형 (as sintered)제품에 대한 규정입니다.

AMS 3660 성형 PTFE 는 Seal, Bearing, Insulator 용도로 쓰이며
260℃ 까지 우수한 기계적 성질과 전기적 특성, 화학적으로 불활성 성질입니다.

AMS 3660 PTFE 는 불소 수지, 테프론 (trademark of DuPont) 라고도 부르고는
내약품성, 내후성, 비점착성, 마모 계수가 작은 플라스틱입니다.

※ Sintering (소결 : 燒結)
Thermal treatment of a powder or compact, at a temperature below
the melting point of the main constituent, for the purpose of increasing
its strength by the metallurgical bonding of its particles.
용융점 아래에서, 주성분인 분말 또는 성형체를 열처리에 의해 금속
입자들의 결합에 의해, 강도를 높이는 것을 말합니다.

※ Mechanical properties (기계적 성질 : 機械的性質)
Various properties relating to mechanical deformation and
breaking such as tensile strength, yield point or proof strength,
elongation, reduction of area, hardness, impact value,
fatigue strength, creep strength, etc.
인장강도, 항복점, 연신율, 단면 수축율, 경도, 충격치, 피로 강도,
크리프 강도 등 기계적인 변형 및 파괴에 관계되는 성질을 말합니다.

※ Wear resistance (내마모성 : Abrasion resistance)
A property of resistance against a phenomenon in which the mechanical
scratch, metallic abrasion, etc. of relatively moving metal surfaces are
integrated and the surfaces are worn, called wear.
상대 운동하는 금속 면의 기계적 글킴, 금속적 점착 등이 종합되어서 그 면이
소모되는 현상을 마모라고 하고, 이에 견디는 성질을 말합니다.
