S690Q 강재는 항복강도 최소 690MPa (100 ksi) 의 높은 강도로
주로 강판 제품 규정 강재로, QT 열처리 생산하는 제품입니다.

EN 10025-6 S690 Series Grade 로 S690Q, S690QL, S690QL1 재질이 있고
이 재질들은 강도 면에서는 차이가 없지만, 저온 인성을 보증하는

Charpy V-Notch Impact Test 값이 온도 구역별 차이가 있습니다,
S690Q -20℃, S690QL -40℃, S690QL1 -60℃ 에서 충격 시험입니다.

KS 용접 구조용 강재 SM460 재질의 최저 항복강도 — 460 MPa 보다
훨씬 높은 690 MPa 고항복강도 강재로, 높은 응력을 견디는 구조용 재료입니다.

※ Steels for low temperature service (저온용 강재, 低溫用鋼材 : LTS 강재)
Steel products manufactured for the pressure vessels and structures
used at a low temperature which required toughness at a low
temperature and weldability.
There are carbon steel, low alloy steel, 2.5% nickel steel, 3.5 nickel steel
9% nickel steel, austenitic stainless steel, etc. according to use temperature.

저온하에서 쓰이는 용기 설비 및 구조재로서 저온 인성 및 용접성을 중시해서
제조 된 강재로, 사용 온도에 따라 탄소강, 저합금강, 2.5% 니켈강, 3.5% 니켈강
9% 니켈강, 오스테나이트 스테인레스강이 있습니다.
