1.7383 EN 10222-2 강재는 압력용기용 단조강 합금강재입니다.
크롬 2.25%, 몰리브덴 1% (2-1/4Cr-1Mo) 합금강으로, 화학 조성에서

SA182-22-3, 재질과 비교 가능한 고온용 (elevated temperature)입니다.
크롬으로 고온 내(耐) 산화성을, 몰리브덴으로 고온 강도를 높이면서

+NT (normalized and tempered), +QT 열처리 조건에서 강도, 경도를 높입니다.
대구경 환봉 Diameter 250 mm 경우, 0.2% 항복강도 500℃/175 MPa,

Stress rupture 500℃, 200,000h 조건에서 246 MPa 강재입니다.
용접성이 요구되는 압력용기 강재 임으로 탄소량을 0.08~0.15% 제한 값입니다.

※ Oxidation resistance (내산화성 : 耐酸化性)
A property of oxidation resistance at a high temperature.
고온에서 산화 (철의 부식)에 견디는 성질을 말합니다.

※ Chromium (Cr : 크롬)
When used as an alloying element, chromium increases the hardenability of steel
and in association with high carbon gives resistance to wear and abrasion.
Chromium has an important effect on corrosion resistance and is present
in stainless steels in amounts of 11.5-20%.

크롬은 강에 합금 원소로 사용되며, 크롬량이 증가하면 경화성이 높아지고
고탄소강에는 내마모 성질을 부여합니다. 크롬은 스텐레스강에서 가장
중요한 원소로 11.5~20% 수준 합금돼, 내식 성질을 부여합니다.

※ Molybdenum (Mo)
Its use as an alloying element in steel increase hardenability and
in low alloy steels reduces the risk of temper brittleness.
It is used in stainless steels as well as high speed steels.
It is increases the high-temperature tensile and creep strengths in steel.

몰리브덴은 경화능 향상 원소이고, 저합금강에서는 템퍼 취성을 감소 시키는
역할을 합니다. 몰리브덴은 고속도강부터 스텐레스까지 합금 되는 원소입니다.
몰리브덴은 강에서 고온 강도와 크리프 강도를 높여주는 역할을 합니다.
