X15CrNiSi20-12 재질은 내열성질의 오스테나이트 강재입니다.
1000℃ 고온에서 적용 가능한 (guidance only) 열에 강한 스텐레스입니다.

내열 성질을 높여주는 크롬 20% 수준 합금으로 +AT (solution annealed)
조건에서 1.0% 항복강도 270 MPa, 0.2% 항복강도 230 MPa minimum 입니다.

X15CrNiSi20-12 +AT 강재는 내산화성을 가지는 재료로, 로 (furnace : 爐),
열처리 박스, 에어히터, 제강 제철 산업, 시멘트 산업 자재로 쓰입니다.

※ Heat Resistance (내열성 : 耐熱性) — DIN-EN
Property of materials that are used at above 550℃ (for steel : wustite point)
due to their excellent resistance to the effects of hot gases and products of
combustion as well as their resistance to the influence of molten salts and
molten metals but also showing good mechanical properties during short
and long-time stressing.

내열성은 550℃ 를 넘는 연소 가스의 영향에 저항성 성질 뿐 아니라 용융염,
용융 금속에도, 짧은 시간부터 오랜 기간 응력에 대한 영향에서, 좋은 기계적
성질과 내산화 내부식 성질입니다.
대개의 금속은 540~550℃ 수준을 넘는 온도 노출되면 미세 구조의 변화로
심한 연성 저하와 충격 강도의 저하가 있습니다.

※ Chromium (Cr : 크롬)
When used as an alloying element, chromium increases the hardenability of steel
and in association with high carbon gives resistance to wear and abrasion.
Chromium has an important effect on corrosion resistance and is present
in stainless steels in amounts of 11.5-20%.

크롬은 강에 합금 원소로 사용되며, 크롬량이 증가하면 경화성이 높아지고
고탄소강에는 내마모 성질을 부여합니다. 크롬은 스텐레스강에서 가장
중요한 원소로 11.5~20% 수준 합금돼, 내식 성질을 부여합니다.
