SNCM431 강재는 기계 구조용 (structural)으로 사용하는 Ni-Cr-Mo
합금강재로 KD D 3867, JIS G 4053 의 SNCM강 11 종류 중 1 가지입니다.

니켈 합금 1.80% 수준 합금으로 강재의 인성 (toughness : 靭性)을 부여하고
크롬과 몰리브덴으로 강재의 QT 경화성을 높인 강인강입니다.

SNCM431 을 포함해 숫자 “4” 가 들어간, SNCM415, SNCM420, SNCM439, SNCM447
5 종류 재질은 모두 Nickel 원소가 1.60~2.00% 합금한 경우이고, 숫자 “4” 이후의

숫자 (예를 들어 SNCM431 재질의 경우 숫자 31)는, 탄소량의 중간 값을 나타냅니다.
SNCM431 의 공급성이 좋지 않아, DIN-EN 30CrNiMo8, 1.6580 재료를 사용키도 합니다.

KD D 3867, JIS G 4053 규정 강재 SNCM 강재 종류는 합금량이 높지 않은 저합금강으로
열간, 냉간, 단조, 열처리하고, 절삭, 인발, 질화 (nitriding) 해서 사용합니다.

alloy elements such as manganese, chromium, molybdenum,
nickel and so on are added and classified as a steel to be used
after quenching and tempering

인성과 강도를 높이고자 니켈, 크롬, 몰리브덴. 망간등의 원소를
합금하고, 기계 구조용으로 사용하기에 적합한 재질이 되도록, 담금질과
템퍼링으로, 강도와 인성을 향상 시켜 사용하는 합금강을 말합니다.

※ Nickel (Ni)
One of the most widely used alloying elements in steel.
In amounts of 0.50% to 5.00% its use in alloy steels increases
the toughness and tensile strength without detrimental effect
on the ductility. Nickel also increases the hardenability.

니켈은 강 (steel)에 많이 합금 되는 원소로, 0.50~5.00% 수준의 합금으로도, 강의
연성에 해로운 영향을 주지 않고, 강도와 인성을 증가 시키고, 경화능 향상 원소입니다.
