SF490A (former symbol SF50) 강재는 KS D 3710 단조로 제조 되는 탄소강 강재입니다.
Steel Forging 최소 인장강도 490 MPa minimum 으로,

압연강재 KS SM355A, JIS SM490A 수준의 강도 재질이지만
화학 원소에서 현저한 차이가 있고, SF490A 탄소량이 훨씬 높습니다.

탄소량이 0.60% maximum 으로, QT 열처리성도 좋은 재질이며
단조강 특성상 단조 후 Normalizing 열처리가 거의 기본적으로 따릅니다.

환봉 (round), 각재 (square)와 다양한 형상으로 단조 가능하며 압연강재로는
따라올 수 없는 대구경 (大口徑), 대형 제품 제조에 유리한 재질입니다.

※ Forging effect (鍛造效果 : 단조 효과)

단조의 목적 (성형과 재질 개선)의 하나인 재질의 강인화 정도.

적당한 단련 성형비를 주도록 강괴 또는 강편을 단련 성형하고
원하는 (소정의) 기계적 성질을 얻기 위해 열처리를 시행한 것을 말합니다.

※ 열처리( Heat Treatment : 熱處理)
철강재의 전체 또는 일부에 열 사이클을 적용하여 그 성질 또는 조직을 변화 시키는
일련의 작업으로, 철강재의 화학 조성은 이러한 작업 과정으로 변할 수 있습니다.
