AMS 3667 재질은 PTFE (PolyTetraFluoroEthylene) Sheet 제품에 대한 규정입니다.
PTFE 원료를 압축 성형한 재료에 대한 규정으로, PTFE 플라스틱의 특징은

전기절연성, 내약품성, 자기윤활성, 내열성, 비점착성, 낮은 유전율
낮은 마찰성, 비흡수성으로, 화학공업, 반도체산업, 의료기기, 가스켙 용도로 쓰입니다.

PTFE 는 불소화합물로 불소수지로는 PTFE, PVDF, FEP, FPA 종류가 있습니다.
불소수지의 특징은 내열 (-240℃~260℃), 내화학, 비점착성, 내후성, 저마찰계수입니다.

PTFE 제품은 제조사마다 Trademark 가 있어, Teflon™ — DuPont®
Neoflon® — DAIKIN INDUSTRIES, LTD 등이 있습니다.

AMS 3667 재질은 ASTM D3294 Resin Molded Sheet and
Molded Basic Shapes 재질과 대응 가능합니다.

※ 유전체 (dielectric : 誘電體)
금속 도체와 달리, 유전체는 절연체를 의미하며, 유리, 운모, 합성수지,
(예를 들어 ASTM D1710 PTFE 재질), PEEK 등의 절연체는 유전체입니다.

※ Atmospheric corrosion resistance (내후성 : 耐候性)
A property of PTFE or the like for corrosion resistance
in the atmospheric of natural environment.
자연 환경의 대기 속에서 부식에 견디는 성질.

※ Tensile Strength(인장강도 : 引張强度)
Value of maximum load during tensile test divided by the
original sectional area of parallel portion.
As for materials in which the maximum load withstood by test piece
after yielding is lower than the upper yield point, it shall be the
value of the maximum load after yielding divided by original
sectional area of parallel portion.

인장시험에서 시험편의 평행부가 두동강 날 때까지 견딘 최대 하중.
