A322-9310 강재는 프리미엄 항공기강 (AQ Steel) 규격으로 낮은 탄소량으로
침탄 해서 사용하는 니켈-크롬-몰리브덴 합금 강재입니다.

KS, JIS의 기계구조용 합금강 SNCM 과는 조금 다른 화학 구성으로 비교할 재질이 없습니다.
ASTM A322-9310 규정에는 화학 원소만을 규정하고 있지만, A646-9310 규정에는

기계적 성질은 없고 Brinell Hardness 262 maximum입니다.
침탄 경화하면 높은 경화성을 가지게 되는 재료로 높은 표면 경도뿐 아니라 심부경도도 높은 재질로

좋은 내 피로성을 가지는 강재로, 항공기의 엔진 기어부품으로 사용됩니다.
A646 규정은 프리미엄 항공기 품질의 원소재 Bloom, Billet 재질만

모아 놓은 규정으로 여기에 A646-9310 재질이 있고, 경도 값이 나타납니다.
기계적 성질은 열처리에 따라 변하지만 항복강도 1000 MPa 수준이 가능한 재료입니다.

Premium Aircraft Quality Steel is the ultimate quality that can currently be obtained in
production quantities and is usually applied to the most critical parts and components.
Steel conformed to this quality level is produced by the consumable electrode vacuum
arc remelting technique. AMS 2300 defines this quality and outlines testing requirements
Steels described herein which meet this quality are designated by the letters VAR
(Vacuum Arc Remelts) or CEVM (Consumable Electrode Vacuum Melted)

프리미엄 항공기강은 VAR (진공아크용해) 또는 CEVM (소모전극진공용해) 방법으로 생산하고
AMS 2300 (프리미엄 항공기 강재 청정성 자분탐상 검사) 적용을 받으며, 최고의 품질로
가장 중요한 부품으로 사용되는 강재를 말합니다.

※ Carburizing (침탄)
Thermochemical treatment which is applied to a ferrous product
in the austenitic state, to obtain a surface enrichment in carbon,
which is in solid solution in the austenite
Further, carburized steel is generally used after it is quenched
and tempered. This treatment is sometimes called case hardening
This is classified into solid carburizing, liquid carburizing and
gas carburizing according to the type of carburizing agents
The carburized ferrous product undergoes quench hardening
(immediately or later)
The medium in which carbonitriding takes palace
should be specified, e.g. gas, salt, bath. etc.
