STKM 13C 강재는 파이프로 SMLS 또는 전기 용접강관으로 제조 방법에 따라
구분되기도 하는 기계 부품, 자동차, 자전거, 기구, 가구용 강관 Symbol 입니다.

KS D 3517, JIS G 3445 규정의 재질로 탄소강으로, 비교적 높은 강도입니다.
Pipe STKM 13C 재질의 항복강도는 380 MPa minimum 으로

ASTM A36 — 항복강도 250 MPa minimum
KS SM275 — 항복강도 275 MPa minimum

KS SN355 고장력강 — 항복강도 355 MPa minimum 보다 강도가 높습니다.
탄소량 0.25% 수준으로 용접성도 좋은 성격이고, 같은 Pipe STKM 13C 이라도

A, B, C Grade로 나뉘어저, 알파벳 순서대로 강도가 높아지고, STKM13C
보다도 높은 강도 파이프를 원하는 경우 STKM 14C, 15C. 16C, 17C를 선택하게 됩니다.

Cold drawn or cold rolled seamless steel tube is called finished
seamless steel tubes.

강괴 또는 강편으로부터 열간압연, 압출, 밀어빼기(압출)로
제조되든가 또는 천공한 다음 기계마무리로서 제조된
이음매가 없는 강관. 다만, 이음매 없는 강관을 원소재로, 냉간
인발 한것을, 냉간마무리 이음매 없는 강관이라고 합니다.
