S32900 재질은 Austenitic-Ferritic 두가지의 상 (phase)을 가지는
듀플렉스 스텐레스 재질로, 오스테나이트 스텐보다 강도가 높습니다.

S32900 은 AISI 329, SS 2324, ASTM A240 Type 329
DIN EN 1.4460, X6CrNiMo26-4-2, JIS SUS 329J1 과 대응되는 재질입니다.

우수한 내식성과 오스테나이트계 SS 304 (UNS S30304) 의 최소 항복강도
205 MPa 와 비교하면, S32900 – 485 MPa, 두 배 이상 높습니다.

S32900, AISI 329 재질은 염화물 (chloride) 을 함유한 환경에, 좋은 내식성과
틈 부식, 점 부식, SCC, 피로 부식에 강하며, 높은 강도와 인성(toughness) 강재입니다.

S32900 재질은 우주 항공용 재료, 저장 탱크용 열교환기, 파이프 용도의 재료로 쓰이고
Round-bar 인 경우는, 볼트, 너트, 피스톤, 프로펠러 용도로 사용됩니다.

※ Pitting corrosion (공식 : 孔蝕)
Localized corrosion resulting in pits, i.e
cavities extending from the surface into the metal
금속 표면으로부터 내부까지 확장된 구멍을 유발 시키는 국부 부식.

※ Crevice corrosion (틈새 부식)
금속 표면과 다른 금속 (금속 또는 비금속) 사이에 형성된 작은 구멍이나
틈의 주변 가까이 또는 내부에서 발생하는 국부 부식.
Local corrosion in connecting with crevices occurring in or immediately
adjacent to the crevice area, which has developed between the metal
surface and another surface (metal or nonmetal)

※ Fatigue
The phenomenon leading to fracture under repeated or fluctuating
stress. Fatigue fractures are progressive beginning as minute cracks
and grow under the action of fluctuating stress.
