C64700 재질은 Cu-Ni-Si 합금으로, CuNi2Si 화학 조성입니다.
석출경화 열처리에 의해 강도를 높일 수 있는 동합금입니다.

합금량이 높지 않으면서, 높은 강도와 경도를 가지는 금속으로
좋은 내마모성과 전도성이며, 석출 경화 열처리 전에 냉간 가공합니다.

C64700 재질은 좋은 내식성과 연성 (ductility)과 극저온 인성 금속입니다.
ASTM B411 규정은 C64700 재질 1가지만 있는 규정으로

Temper TF00 에 대한 Rod — Round, Hexagonal and Octagonal
Bar 제품으로는 — Square, Rectangular 형상이 있습니다.

Temper TF00 는 Solution Heat treated and Precipitation Hardened
열처리에 대한 Temper Code이고, Temper Name AT 로 나타냅니다.

C64700 Copper-Nickel-Silicon 금속은 fasteners, electrical industry,
switch gear and circuit breakers, anti-friction 용도로 쓰입니다.

C64700 재질은 영국 국방성 규격 DTD 498, EN CW111C, BS B25 규격과 비교
가능하고 비중 8.87 g/㎤, 전기전도성 (electrical conductivity) 6.9% IACS 입니다.

Temperature lower than -75℃ used in the liquefaction of gases

※ Precipitation Hardening Steels (석출 경화 : 析出硬化)
Steels with the property of being hardened by a method wherein
a small amount of elements such as aluminium, copper, etc.
is added and compounds of those elements or the like are
precipitated by heat treatment.

알루미늄, 구리 등의 원소를 소량 첨가하고, 열처리에 의해
이들 원소 화합물을 석출 시켜 경화 하는 성질을 지니게한 강.

※ 전기전도율 (Electrical conductivity : 電氣傳導率)
전기가 통하기 쉬운 정도를 말하고, 순 금속일수록 좋고 불순물이 있거나
합금이 되면 떨어집니다. 전기 저항의 역수입니다.
은(Ag) 100.0, 구리 (Cu) 92.8, 철 (Fe) 16.50 수준이고, IACS 기준으로는
은(Ag) 108.4, 구리 (Cu) 103.06, 철 (Fe) 25.36 수준입니다.
