AMS 4347 규정은 Aluminum Alloy 6013-T4 (6013 Temper T4) 알루미늄
합금으로, Solution 열처리와 자연 시효 Sheet 제품 규격입니다.

AMS 4347 재질의 특징은 SCC (stress corrosion cracking)과
박리 (exfoliation : 剝離) 현상이 나타나지 않는 재질입니다.

AMS 4347 은, 알루미늄 합금으로는 중간 정도 수준의 강도이고 주로 항공기용
구조체 용도로 사용되며, 내식성과 성형성 향상 알루미늄 합금입니다.

※ Temper T4
Solution heat treated and naturally aged to a substantially stable condition :
Applied to a products that are not cold worked after solution heat treatment,
or in which the effect of cold work in flattening or straightening may not be
recognized in applicable mechanical properties.

고용화 열처리 후 자연 시효 경화 (aged)해, 안정화 된 상태를 말합니다.
고용화 열처리 후 냉간 가공을 하지 않으며, 편평도와 직선도를 가공을 하더라도
기계적 특성에는 영향을 미치지 않는 수준으로 합니다.

※ Solution heat treatment (용체화 처리/고용화 처리)
A process in which an alloy is heated to a suitable temperature and is held
at this temperature long enough to allow soluble constituents to enter into
solid solution where they are retained in a super-saturated state after quenching

합금을 적절한 온도로 가열하고 급랭 이후 과포화 상태로 존재하던
가용성분이 고용체에 고용화 될 수 있도록 충분히 유지하는 공정을 말합니다.

※ Natural ageing (자연시효)
Strengthening of an alloy by spontaneous precipitation of soluble constituents
from a super-saturated solid solution at room temperature.

상온에서 과포화 고용체로부터 가용 성분을 석출하여 합금을 강화하는 것을 말합니다.
