AMS 5387 재질은 내식성과 내열성, 열충격 저항성, 비자성 (non magnetic)
특징으로, nominal 63% 코발트와 29% 크롬, 4.5% 텅스텐 합금입니다.

Kennametal Inc. Trademark of Stellite® 6, UNS No. R30006 과
대응되며 aerospace, bearings, housings, medical device 로 사용됩니다.

AMS 5387 코발트 합금은 Super Alloy 로, 좋은 크리프성과 산화 저항성이며,
높은 온도에서 심한 기계적 응력이 작용하는 환경에 사용합니다.

AMS 5387 합금의 높은 강도는 고용 강화 (solid solution), 냉간 가공,
석출 경화 (precipitation hardening)으로 실현됩니다.

AMS 5387 코발트 합금은 investment casting (정밀 주조) 형상품 규정으로
정밀 주조는 복잡한 형상, 표면의 깨끗함, 치수의 정확성이 특징입니다.

※ Solid solution (고용체 : 固溶體)
Homogeneous, solid, crystalline phase formed by two or more elements.
Note : A distinction is made between a substitutional solid solution
in which the solute atoms are substituted for those of the solvent
and an interstitial solid solution in which the solute atoms are
inserted between those of the solvent.

두 종류 이상의 원소에 의해 생성되는 균질이며
고체이고, 결정질인 상.
용질 원자가 용매 원자 자리에 치환되는 치환형 고용체와
용매원자 사이에 침입형 고용체로 구분됩니다.

금속 재료의 강화 방법 중 하나로, 금속을 강하게 만드는 종류로는
가공 경화 ; 변형 경화 (Strain hardening)
석출 경화 ; 시효 경화 (Precipitation strengthening)
결정립 미세화 (Grain refinement),
고용 강화 (Solid-solution strengthening) 등이 있습니다.

※ 산화 (Oxidation : 酸化)
The addition of oxygen to a compound,
Exposure to atmosphere sometimes results in oxidation of the
exposed surface, hence a staining or discoloration,
This effect is increased with temperature.

산소와의 결합을 말합니다.
표면이 대기에 노출되면 산화 된 결과 표면 색이 변하고 변형이 됩니다.
온도가 높아지면 산화는 가속화됩니다.
