AMS 4631 합금은 알루미늄 청동봉과 Rods, 단조품에 대한 규정으로
stress relieved (응력 제거 풀림 열처리) 조건 동합금 제품입니다.

AMS 4631 동합금은 일반적인 온도 수준에서 강도와 내마모성,
낮은 자성, 내식성과 높은 연성 성질을 가지는 재료입니다.

AMS 4631 알루미늄 청동은 함정의 밸브 스템, 체인, 앵커, 하우징용,
자동차의 밸브 가이드, 파스너인 볼트, 너트, 산업용 cams, gears 용도입니다.

AMS 4631 합금은 B150 C64200, CDA642, SAE J461, SAE J463 재질과 비교되며,
AMS 4631에 합금 된 알루미늄이 기계적 성질을 높이는 역할을 합니다.

※ Stress Relief (응력 제거 어닐링 (풀림)
Heating to a suitable temperature, holding long enough
to reduce residual stresses and than cooling slowly
enough to minimized the development of new residual stresses.
A heat treatment in which the lock-up stresses in a bar caused
by cold working are removed by heating the bar closed to but
below the lower limit of the critical temperature range,
or to approximately 100℉ below the tempering temperature.

적당한 온도로 가열하고 균열화한 후, 적절한 온도로 냉각함으로써
실질적인 조직의 변화 없이 내부 응력을 줄이고자 시행하는 열처리를 말합니다.

※ Ductility (연성 : 延性)
The property of metals that enables them to be mechanically deformed
when cold, without fracture. In steel, ductility is usually measured by
elongation and reduction area is determined in a tensile test.

금속에 인장력을 줘 소성 변형을 일으켰을 때, 끊어짐이 없이 선 (line)상으로
늘릴 수 있는 성질을 연성이라고 하고, 연성은 인장시험에서
연신율 (Elongation), 단면수축율 (Reduction area; RA)로 측정합니다.
물질이 파괴되지 않고 유연하게 변할 수 있는 능력입니다.
쉽게 말해 물질이 파괴되지 않고 유연하게 변형할 수 있는 능력입니다.
