AMS 5658 규정은 환봉, 단조재와 링 형상의 내식성 강재로
15Cr-4.5Ni-0.30 (Cb+Ta)- 3.5Cu 화학 조성을 가지는 스텐레스입니다.

석출 경화에 의한 높은 강도, 특히 압연 방향이 아닌 역방향 (transverse)의
높은 강도와 인성으로, 발전 장비, 항공기 부품, 제지 산업, 화학 산업에 쓰이고

엔진 부품, 밸브, Shafts, Gears, Fasteners, Fitting 제품으로 가공돼 쓰입니다.
석출 경화 열처리는 1 step 으로 간단하지만, 높은 기계적 성질입니다.

AMS 5658 재질은 높은 강도와 내식성, 인성, 연성, 그리고 단조성이 좋은 재질입니다.
AMS 5658 물성은 A564, A693, A705 XM-12, Custom 630 과 비교 가능합니다.

※ Longitudinal directions (압연 방향 : 壓延方向)
The principal direction of flow in a worked steel.
Usually the length of the plate.
Grain direction also runs the length of the plate.

※ Transverse directions (역방향 : 逆方向)
Literally, across usually signifying a direction or plane
perpendicular to the direction of working.

※ Ductility (연성 : 延性)
The property of metals that enables them to be mechanically deformed
when cold, without fracture. In steel, ductility is usually measured by
elongation and reduction area is determined in a tensile test.

금속에 인장력을 줘 소성 변형을 일으켰을 때, 끊어짐이 없이 선 (line)상으로
늘릴 수 있는 성질을 연성이라고 하고, 연성은 인장시험에서
연신율 (Elongation), 단면 수축율 (Reduction area; RA)로 측정합니다.
물질이 파괴되지 않고 유연하게 변할 수 있는 능력입니다.
쉽게 말해 물질이 파괴되지 않고 유연하게 변형할 수 있는 능력입니다.

※ Toughness (인성 : 靭性)
The degree of difficulty in occurring impact breaking
because of the material’s toughness.
질기고 세며, 충격 파괴를 일으키기 어려운지, 어떤지의 정도.
