AMS 5709 규정은 57% 니켈을 base metal 로, 내식성과 내열성이고
Bar 또는 단조제품으로, 소모전극용해 또는 진공유도 용해 방법으로

생산하는 58Ni-19.5Cr-13.5Co-4.3Mo-3.0Ti-1.4Al-005Zr-0.006B
화학조성이면서, 석출경화 열처리로 높은 기계적 성질의 금속입니다.

AMS 5709 합금은 Waspaloy® 상표로도 불리는 재질로,
ASTM B637 UNS N07001, EN 2.4654 규정 재질과 대응 가능합니다.

AMS 5709 초합금은 650℃ 이상의 고온에서 회전 부품으로 사용되며
특히 내산화성이 — 870℃, 좋으면서, 고온강도 특징을 가지는 재료입니다.

AMS 5709 합금은 제트엔진의 가스터빈 부품, 항공기 프레임,
fasteners, shafts, 미사일 부품 용도로 사용됩니다.

※ Precipitation Hardening Steels (석출경화 : 析出硬化)
Steels with the property of being hardened by a method wherein
a small amount of elements such as aluminium, copper, etc.
is added and compounds of those elements or the like are
precipitated by heat treatment.

알루미늄, 구리 등의 원소를 소량첨가하고, 열처리에 의해
이들 원소 화합물을 석출시켜 경화하는 (강도 향상) 성질을 지니게 한 강.

※ Creep strength materials
Steels, nickel- or cobalt alloys with minimum 8% chromium, which are
characterised by good mechanical behaviour at temperature above 500℃
under long-range service condition ; i.e. primarily by creep strength
to 1% plastic strain or creep rupture strength during long-time stressing.

강(鋼)이나, 니켈합금, 코발트 합금이면서 최소 크롬을 8% 이상 합금으로
500℃ 이상의 환경에서 사용될 때, 좋은 기계적 성질을 보이는 금속을 말합니다.
